Received from sweetyetevil a hot air balloon themed wall hanging:

The balloons at the upper left, middle, and lower right are machine embroidered; the ones on the upper right are rubber stamped and accompany the hand embroidered title "Drift Into Adventure".

The balloon at the lower left has been stuffed a bit to make it dimensional (hard to photograph; below shows it the best of several I took), has a dangling "basket", and floats on a field of glow-in-the-dark stars (aka lots and lots and LOTS of tiny knots):

Thanks, sweetye!

The zombie quilt made me chuckle Grin I don't know why but it made me think of the old "Love Is..." cartoon from the 70's. Yipes, showing my age here.

I'm not a huge Zombie fan but wow that quilt could convert me! I love all the attention to detail! Awesome work!

And the hot air balloons are just so whimsical and great! I love the stuffed one in the bottom corner! I think I like that it's basket is attached by the rings! What an awesome idea!

Great work! Can't wait to see what else pops up on the board!

The hot air balloon one is awesome! I like how they are differently done. And the hanging basket is so neat!

Thank you for all the lovely comments about the zombie quilt!  It was my first time doing a mini-art-quilt and I had some serious anxiety.  I have issues.  Grin  It was so much fun to make though!  I did do the applique by hand.  I usually prefer to do it by machine, but the pieces were too small that I didn't think I could do it properly.  It was really fun to put together though.  And Lanikins was such an awesome partner!  I'm uploading the pictures of the quilt she sent me right now!
