In the last Ongoing Hoopla Swap round my partner listed the theme "trees". I looked around at so many diffrent options but I finally decided that I really wanted to try a whole tree of french knots.  I just did plain back stitches in a few different colors for the trunks and branches.  This was the restult!

Oh my gosh, thank you all so much!!  I really loved how this turned out and it was so hard to part with.  I definitely got a lot better at making the knots as this worked up.  After a while they were so easy to make.  Again thank you all for the kind words, it means a lot!  Grin

This looks great! I do a ton of needlework, but I've always found french knots to be very challenging too (glad to know I'm not the only one Smiley ). Awesome job!

It's much easier with a frame. Like that you can use your 2 hands and always keep the tension. If you do that, you always succeed them Smiley
