Yay! Ruby liked her rocks! I was worried, being the function over form person I am. But I explained how to use them for functional pieces over here. I hope you do use them, Ruby. It would be a shame if they just sat there turned over on the pretty side all the time.  Roll Eyes

LOL! Those rocks remind me of the cute little black/white tins that I saw in Michaels today. On one side of the tin, there was a monogram letter. Someone had too much time on their hands apparently and it took me a moment to realize that they had rearranged the tins to create some lovely words. ROFL!

I was wondering why she was only posting 5 of the rocks I sent: apparently the USPS screwed up and lost over 1/2 the rocks! I am insisting she calls the PO and complains. This is an outrage! If they don't fix it, though, I will make her more because that's a load of shit. I made them FOR HER so she needs to have them, right?

I did call, and basically I'm SOL.  They will look around there for them and call if they happen to find anything.  I'm sad and pissed at the same time!  Jexx you rock!

Those stones are hilarious Smiley  Bet you'll have some fun surprising people with them  Wink

I feel like I've been neglecting this swap! haha  Summer is so busy......  I've been keeping up with my partner (Hi Naja!) & reading your posts, but haven't posted on here myself in ages...

Well! I have the day off work today and have decided it's the perfect day to work on package 3 (& can some peaches!).  I've been working away slowly on it for ages & hope to get a good chunk done this morning.

Wish me luck!!   Grin

I'm finishing up the last item for my package. I had a time deciding exactly what to make so this has been a challenge and fun!  Cheesy

I finally received my package two from Ewulotta - damn, postage can be so slow sometimes! She spoiled me thoroughly this time, and there's a bit of a theme too - I mentioned that I collect elephants, so there are some elephant items here Cheesy

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the smell -

She sent me two more boxes of tea that smell AMAZING (after I said I loved the 'Ovambo' tea she sent me a few of last time, this time I got a whole box Cheesy). Plus some gummis, one themed after Cologne (the cathedrals) where she lives now, and the little trains are a famous feature from her hometown.

Next were these lovely yarns -

I can never find great variegated colours here, so I feel extra spoiled. The colours are great too, I definitely would have bought these if I saw them on the shelf!

Then there's a dear little elephant canvas. I'm torn between sitting it with my other elephants, or hanging it with my hoops.

The elephants continued in this beautiful charm bracelet. The colours are lovely and the little elephant charms are so sweet!

And, last but definitely not least,

Ewulotta also carved me some stamps! The set of four are based on the Avatar cartoon (I believe I had some pinned), and there is also a dear little elephant stamp, as well as some notepaper.

Thank you so much, everything is beautiful! Now I have to get back to making package three, because the deadline is looming and I bit off something awfully time-consuming! Cheesy
