I've been chewing my leg off waiting for Assassin's Creed 3 to come out, so in the meantime I made myself this shirt.  The Ottoman Assassin crest from Revelations is my favorite so far, so it's my first shirt (I have the feeling I need more, because every time I wear this it makes me happy in ways I can't fully explain).

Progress shots!

I don't even want to talk about how long it took me to cut out this crazy thing.  Let's just say I watched a couple of movies.

The colors are inspired by the gradient in the loading screen of Revelations, but obviously I changed the colors completely to fit what I had on hand and to match the color of the shirt.  I'm really, REALLY pleased with the way it turned out!  I used Tulip Soft fabric paint (the kind that comes in bottles similar to acrylic craft paint) because it's easy to work with and has really stood the test of time and washing with me.  I have a couple of shirts I used it on that are 3 years old or more.  I love this stuff.

Bonus action shot...

I just got him at Toys 'R Us today, which finally got me off my lazy behind and inspired me to take pics.  Cheesy

Oh, and to give credit where it's due, the image I used was from Vesferatu on Deviantart. Smiley

Thanks!  This was one of the more fiddly stenciling projects I've ever done, but it was totally worth it. Smiley

Inspiration without application is moot.
