I really like the sound of the plastique stuff, I may have to invest in some of that of I can get hold of it over here. How do you cast things in silver? I wouldn't mind having a go at that.

I received an AMAZING package from mama24boyz today and I have another package waiting for me at the post office (I'm not sure who from) I went to pick it up this morning but people were literally quing half way down the high street to get to the PO and I didn't have time to wait Sad so I won't be able to pick it up until Tuesday now. Sad

I'll post pictures in a little while, I'm just trying to get a good action shot Smiley

You can use PMC (precious metal clay) or Art Clay. I got a kit (like this) Most of it needs to be kiln cured, but you can get the "low temp" stuff that can be torch cured. You work it like clay but then burn off the binder and are left with 99.9% pure silver.

I claimed lindyv321 for a picture of her hubby and her changed into day of the dead art!  I decided to give it a try!  Lindy asked me to post a picture, so here it is!

Its done in watercolors on watercolor paper!  Weee!  I was super nervous doing it since I'm not great at doing faces, but I think I succeeded!

I got an adorable little grab ball from mollygirl a while back and I've been trying to get some cute action shots, but someones just not been interested in getting her pic taken  Wink  I thought she was getting 2 new teeth, but it turns out its really 4!!!  Teething is no fun, none of my boys teethed!!! They just grew teeth without a sound, this one, you know for weeks that shes getting teeth!  Anyways, heres the ball Daysie got it, she really does love it (and so does Ethan btw  Cheesy)

I finally pried the origami books out of my kids hands so I could get some pictures of all that missmoppet sent me.

a crocheted market bag - woo hoo, taking it to the farmer's market tomorrow. The colors are perfect for me!

3 origami books - as you can see, the kids have been busy with the books. I have bits of paper scattered from one end of my house to the other.

Thank you missmoppet!

I got mail from the UK today!!!  Cheesy The envelope was quite damaged (might have happened when they put it in the mailbox) but luckily the plastic bag inside kept the contents safe Smiley

Geek made me this wonderful retro apron (which doesn't quite work with the dress I'm wearing today, but let's ignore that detail) and I really love it. I can definitely see myself hosting a party wearing this apron, without having to cringe at the pictures afterwards, it really looks so pretty Smiley

The neck strap was too long, but I've fixed that with a slip knot on the back (once I get my mum's old sewing machine, I'll fix it more elegantly). The apron also has 2 pockets, which are practically invisble, but mainly very practical Smiley

Thanks, Geek!
