Man, I totally forgot to post a picture yesterday of the lovely hot pads I received from pinkleo.


Aren't they awesome?  And each side has a different design on it, so I flipped one over so you could see the two designs.  Oh and they are soft, too!  I absolutely adore 'em!  She also sent me some very cool embroidery floss.  I'm lacking on the multicolored ones.

Naantje claimed me for a school bus item and claimed me for 2!!!!!

I love them both and they are headed to my office at work!!!

First is this school bus mug rug!  So cool it has school bus on the side is the perfect colors and size.  It rocks!!!  This had to take forever and I will cherish forever!!!!!


As if this was not enough, naantje also decided to make me a piece of art also related to school buses.   It too is perfect.  I love the saying!  It will get framed and added to my wall at work!

I love going to my mailbox and finding a key to one of the package mailboxes. That means oversized goodies are waiting! And today, I had not one but TWO swap packages waiting for me. Yay!

mama24boyz claimed me for some supplies. And she sent both the awesome Martha Stewart "punch anywhere" punch with a group of stars but also a bottle of turquoise glitter - something I want to use to try and glitter up some heels!



It's really smart how they do it. The punch has a footer plate that attaches via magnets. You pull it apart, put your paper in and then stick it back together and punch! The magnets only align one way so you don't break your punch. And the stars are so cute. Plus, it's a lot bigger than I thought; much bigger than most regular type punches! (No action shots of the glitter yet. Need to buy some heels still. That will be a project at a future date once I figure out what shoes to modify. )

The second package was from sparks who made me an awesome camera bag for my new Canon DSLR! It's in a fabric I have on my pinterest fabric inspiration board (cool) and it's really practical and fits my camera perfectly. It's padded and has a nice, soft fleece on the inside lining. Ironically, I had to take the pics with my point-and-shoot since I was using my camera in the action shot. LOL


(It actually fits way better than this pic looks. It's just my strap is very messily tossed in there making it look sorta weird. Didn't notice til I was resizing the pic.)


Zips up nicely with a pocket on the front and another on the back.


Soft and padded with an optional insert depending on how I put the camera in there. (Again, it looks weird in the shot though I don't know why. Looks great in person.)

That bag is beautiful! I love that fabric, I've got a bit of it in my stash. As we speak my nephews are playing with some paper punches and scrapbooking scissors so I had to show them that punch. Now apparently I have to buy it for them. Is it very hard to push down? They are just little guys so can't use regular punches with the round button, they just don't have the strength to push it down,  right now the only one they can use has more of a lever/bar sticking up at an angle that they can push down.

Yeah it does require a bit of force. The good thing though is that you can put your whole hand on it and really lean your weight into it. So instead of needing thumb strength, you can use more leverage and spaced out force to push it. But if they're really little, it might be too hard for them to do.
