one of my friends from years and years ago is having her first baby girl
after much fretting & fabric box searching, i was inspired by her tattoos, which were related to her childhood passion
she was obsessed with eeyore growing up (has an angel & devil eeyore set on her shoulder blades) and i felt the need to pass that on to her little girl to be.
tweeked from the original pattern that was all based off of triangles, i came up with this!

i think she liked it!

as usual, to not blob up the post, a few more detail shots of the binding and backing on my blog

Gorgeous, the fabric makes the pattern look really complicated too, I would have sworn the Hexagons were made up of lots of smaller pieces, very tricky!!  Grin

Wow. Great job. I have wanted to do a hexagon quilt for a while, but I was always afraid of having to do partial seams. With this pattern, I wouldn't have to worry about that. Thanks for the inspiration.Cheesy
