If you know who this is then I will be your friend forever.

Unfortunately, she's not aging well... look at those wrinkles!  I used fabric medium, but I also used paint (acrylic) from the art room... and you never know what is mixed in with that stuff!  So I'll have to mix some paint that's kind of close to this shade and fix it, I guess.  The color even CHANGED in some spots.  That's not my camera lighting-- that's the actual color on the shirt.

laurel thatcher ulrich may not be the woman pictured, but she is the woman quoted  : )

I love it. You could also put Carrie Nation on a shirt with that quote. She was anything but well behaved.

yep-- I used Ulrich's quote, but it's not her on the shirt!  I'll give you a hint: she's on the silver dollar.  And we learned this year in AP US History about Carrie Nation!  I remember my friends and I talking (warning: geek alert) and we said she was our favorite person in that chapter because of how intense her actions were.  Roll Eyes
