Hello.

I have fallen in love with clothes from between 1940 and 1980 and I am therefore looking for vintage sewing patterns.
But it is very expensive for me to buy them on eBay - if the pattern is cheap - either they wont ship to denmark, or the shipping costs $45.

I have especially fallen in love with this pattern.

But anything will do!  If any of you folks could point me in the right direction for finding this or similar patterns, I'd much appreciate it Smiley

I hope I have placed this the right place, and I hope you can and will help.

Try looking on etsy - there are some great sellers of vintage patterns there and shipping to Europe is generally far more reasonable than on eBay.

You could also try Dawanda - it is based in Europe - but Etsy has a wider and larger variety.

That must be a size 14 (european size is 48 - or a XL). Smiley

Dawanda? Is that also a site just like etsy? never heard of it. Smiley

Yes, like etsy but based in Germany. The site is in German (de.dawanda.com), French (fr.dawanda.com) and English (en.dawanda.com). You should definately check it out.

You are in luck!  That particular pattern was reprinted as part of Butterick's "Retro" line, and it appears that their website will ship to Denmark! http://butterick.mccall.com/b4790-products-6089.php?page_id=371&search_control=display&list=search

I have this pattern and love it too, I used a red checkered material for the bulk of it, and a picinic fabric with ants on it for the front piece. Super comfy, easy to make, but uses a LOT of fabric hehe. I hope you got to make yours!
