We found a yard of pleather today at the scrap store for 50 cents.  I can't wait to try this!

W.O.W. these are awesome! I rushed directly into my sewing room and made a pattern and a pair of my own! Since I'm neurotic and only have stretch fabric in my sewing room, mine are made out of aqua and brown lycra. SO CUTE! Thank you my fellow crafters!!

The detail in these is beautiful! I have been looking at different ways of making shoes, everything from crochet tops to traditional indian moccasins.  These are so simple and so lovely!
