For anyone who has seen or heard of the TV show, Phineas and Ferb, how can you not love Perry the Platypus. He hides his true identity with his huge eyes and silly demeanor. If you don't know about them, you can google them or get more information about him here:http://tv.disney.go.com/disneychannel/phineasandferb/

Not too long ago, a friend of mine requested a Perry. I agreed and started out with turquoise (stitch nation), brown (I love this yarn!), white (I love this yarn!), pink (I love this yarn!), black (I love this yarn! Yes, I do love that brand), and yellow (I can't seem to remember that brand Tongue).

I made his body and then his tail and attached them together. Here's a picture just before I attached them:

I then managed to make the legs, beak, and eyes (I didn't attach them all the way to make sure everything seemed proportional.

Not too bad, if I do say so myself. (He also has a pink tongue, but I can't seem to find that picture...)

I had to compare eye sizes, and then finally attached them and tied all the parts to the body and hid the yarn tails. My last course of action was to add some hairs to the top of his head.

So finally, after a couple months and crocheting and taking apart pieces until I was satisfied...the final Perry!!

A close up of his face (oops, got my messy shelves in there...)

A top view close up of his face (and a chocolate bar nutritional information)

and a little wider top view.

Unfortunately, I can't find a full picture of him...

I don't have the pattern, sorry...not sure where I put it. Please let me know what you think!

Haha, but if he had a hat, he would give away his secret identity! Tongue
