Thanks, folks! The hoop was inspired by this image by fizzgig over at DeviantArtwhich we both have pinned. My house liked it so much I had to make a second for my husband.  Cheesy

Fantastic hoop and towel and purse.  Love this gallery.

Given a cape, tiara and a strong cup of coffee, yeah, I could rule the world.

I've always wanted to try and make one of my own hooded towels for my nephew & nieces. Anything specific we should know? Is terry cloth hard to sew?

I love that hoop! and where does every one keep getting all theses Star Wars fabrics? I'm so jealous.

I found my Star Wars fabrics at JoAnn's. Smiley

The hooded towel was fun. In hindsight I think I should have made the hood bigger, but hopefully it'll fit for a little while at least. I used terrycloth by the yard and it was fine until I got to places where I needed to sew through 8 layers or so at once.  Tongue I looked at some tutorials on making one using store bought towels, which seems pretty easy, but I couldn't find affordable towels in the right color. This tutorial had some good advice: http://www.make-baby-stuff.com/hooded-baby-bath-towel-pattern.html

I received a fantastic package today from my partner chughes225. We decided to do a much larger than 5pt swap.

I love wall art and she made me so many wonderful pieces.

First a fun Star Wars logo bulletin board with pins of my favorite characters.

A Darth Vader framed watercolor, which is perfect as I was coveting the one she made tankrgrl. Cheesy

A C3PO & R2D2 in disguise embroidery with my favorite quote. Too funny!

I am in the progress of doing my kitchen up in a cupcake theme so she made me a fantastic Darth Vader/cucake painting from a pic I had on my pinterest to go in my kitchen.

She also made an adorable Chewbacca Cupcake painting for my kitchen as well.

Next up is a stenciled Vader shirt and pj pants. Aren't they awesome?! Love the lightsaber on the leg!

She also made an awesome lap desk for my laptop in Star Wars fabric and some extra lightsaber candies.

And lastly an adorable Chewbacca plushie to go with my Vader & Yoda plushie. Isn't he cute?! My daughter is trying to claim him for herself.  Cheesy

Everything is so awesome! Thanks so much chughes225!

I LOVE that robots in disguise hoop. So clever!!!

And Chewie is so cool! I couldn't find any fluffy fabric like that. Where did you get it?

Just awesome all around.

Talk about coveting thy neighbor's goodies! That is one wickedly awesome package you got spikefan. Not jealous... not even one bit! Lips sealed All the wall art has me questioning whether I should give my walls some character. Smiley

I received my swap package from Rodelphia today!  Smiley

First, there was an R2-D2 inspired drop spindle:

Super cute, yeah?

Then, some Star Wars planet inspired roving:

That'd be Endor, Hoth, and Tatooine.

And a copy of Family Guy does Star Wars with some cute mini erasers:

Thanks, Rodelphia, it was great swapping with you.  Smiley
