Here's the amazing package that I received from Abbeeroad.  I love it.



R2 necklace.  The red bead is perfect.



Star Wars/Dr. Who mash up felt badge.  I would've never thought of this, but it's so amazing.  I freaked out a bit when I took it out of the box.



And my favorite part of the package: Chewie!  He's so cute.  I squeed when I saw him.  I thought it was appropriate to take his picture with my SW skirt as the backdrop (mostly because he's slightly too big for our light box).

Yay! I loved your skirt when you posted it in the 50 projects in 2012 craftalong, Megan! So cool to see it again! Your pics are awesome.  I'm stealing them to post in the craftalong (if that's ok!).

I was so worried that you were going to get a similar felt badge in the felt badge swap, I was totally stalking the gallery like a crazy person!

I think I first saw the R2D2 Dalek on a Threadless T-shirt design, next to a C3PO Cyberman. One of the freakiest fandom things I've ever seen, but very very clever. And Chewbacca is adorable, of course.

That Chewie doll is fabulous, so cute!

And the necklace is super clever, just the perfect colours, the red bead, the beep tag, how did you think of turning r2d2 into a necklace? love it!!

Thanks guys. Yes, I stole the R2D2 Dalek from the Internet. I just googled "Dr. Who Star Wars Crossover" and this is one of the images that came up. I just turned it into a badge. Chewie is a pattern from Draw! Pilgrim.

The R2D2 necklace just came from having the right beads in my stash and a new obsession with metal stamping. It was the first thing I made for this swap and it almost didn't make it in the mail!

The gorgeous water colors of three of my favorite characters, so going on my wall after I finish typing this up!
They turned out so great!!


Giant Darth Vader lightsaber pillow/toy for my son, he loves it! I will try to get an action shot after tae kwon do He was so pathetic too when he saw it, he stared at it and said mommy how come you got that? I want one! Priceless face when I told him it was his.


An Ahsoka necklace- very cool! Darth Vader wrap bracelet and lightsaber earrings- I will have to keep an eye on all three, my daughter was eyeballing them!


lightsaber candy extras- I think we will also reuse the containers to hold DS pens...they seem to disappear rather quickly.


A Camp Half Blood shirt for my daughter- her eyes totally bugged out when she saw this, she got to meet Rick Riordan last weekend and saw all these kids with CHB shirts and kept saying man, I wish you had made me one of these, can you make one when we get home? She loves it, has declared she is wearing it when we fly to Maryland next week.

Finally...a piece that is fashionable and functional...especi ally with this long flight in front of me...


A star Wars kindle cover!!! I love it! I love that it stands on it's own so I can read it hands free- perfect for when I knit and want to read, or on the long flight- what have you, it is perfect.
