Hello!
I made this alphabet book as a gift for a 1st birthday
The front and back covers are crochet. I tried to give each page a different style/technique and each letter a different colour, as well as a variety of textures

What a wonderful book! My mom made a fabric 'quiet book' for us as children and now I use it with my kids. You book is so beautiful and colorful with wonderful textures!

Too cute! It's functional and a great way to brush up on various sewing techniques.  A little jeopardy trivia for you and "ABC" book is referred to in the world of children's literary criticism as an abcedarian (Ab-seh-deh-ree-an). now you know!

In the end the crafts you take are equal to the crafts you make

I have a ten moth old and this is freakin awesome. More awesome than any of those things that light up and make noise that you see at the stores these days. I can see the child you made it for carting it around like a favorite blanky or a teddy bear. What a great gift!

Man....why don't I have any little kids in the family to sew for. It's annoying being the youngest sometimes....guess I'll just have to have babies someday...
