I started with this collection of things. rocks, paper and more...

I tea dyed the paper and it really didn't turn out as good as I thought it would. but I added some pretty baby blue paper I have had forever... I spray painted a bunch of things silver and gold..... The white cardboard I sprayed gold and when it dried I sponged stained black to give in that antique look.  I made paper beads.  I glued them with the crystal points in the corners.

I sewed the leather to be a little loose.  This is a smash book but I have smashed much it to it yet...

My first craft challenge so what you think?

Oh wow that's awesome. I love all the stones and bits on it. I have to ask though, what is a smash book?

A smash book is a scrap book that you smash stuff into like you would a junk drawer! LOL.  I love the name...

It is lovely. And what a cool  Cool idea to make a smash book instead of a scrap book. Great for un-organised people like me!  Roll Eyes

Awesome! I didn't know what a smash book was either. That's what my diaries always turn into.
