He`s such a handful with 8 bendy legs and 6 shiny eyes.

He's needle felted on a wire frame and measures about 8" across with legs straightened out

I loved making him as I am afraid of spiders and was surprised to see such a cute sweet creature come out ... I think I'm a little less scared now :-)

Very impressive. I forgot to say that last time. I like him a lot! He reminds me of a toy I used to wear on the shoulder of my uniform when I worked at Taco Bell in High School, but way cooler.

This is amazing! I work at the cincinnati zoo and have to take out taranchulas all of the time to show the public, and i have to saw this is pretty spot on. I think they are some of the coolest animals ever

Wow!  Boris is gorgeous!  Boris is also a Brachypelma smithi, judging by the colors.  AKA Mexican red-knee tarantula.

so cute! A friend of mine suggested I make a tarantula and this is a great inspiration! And I love Boris the Spider, but he's "black and hairy, very small," and this guy is black and hairy and big!
