I started using quilters wax and thread heaven to calm the ends and keep it together. It works great on metallic threads too.

This is gorgeous! I love the simplicity and elegance of it. The glow in the dark is such a cool effect! I tried embroidery once I decided I didn't like it, but seeing awesome work like this really inspires me to give it another go!

Do try again - find a pattern you really like and go for it!

I'll have to check these out as I had given up on metallic thread but maybe there is hope!

This is just awesome! I have not yet ventured into the world of embroidery, but when I saw that the Walmart I work at started to carry various cross stitching items again including hoops and embroidery floss, I have been tempted. This is more inspiration to do so! I love the fact that it glows, but looks spectacular during the day as well! And jellyfish are such scary but beautiful creatures as well! Overall, I commend you on a job well done!  Grin

I've discovered a problem with glow-in-the-dark thread - our evenings here are so long that I have to stay up way too late if I want to see this glow!  Now come winter, it will start glowing around 5   Cheesy
