I got the books I put on hold for this swap at the library yesterday then swung over for supplies at the fabric store! I haven't started crafting yet, but should start shortly.

I got a couple of great extras today and I've been researching all day to get ideas.

finished my first project yesterday.  VERY happy with how it came out, especially considering I'd never done the pattern before.  Also found some surprise fabric while rummaging through a box and a great embroidery pattern on super sale at the craft store.  Yay!

Eeep, I've been terrible this week!  My head has been firmly out of anything vintage and stuck in a decidedly modern frame of mind- I've been somewhat obsessively watching E3 coverage instead of crafting, lol!  I fully plan on getting back on track this weekend now that most of my new!video game fever has subsided, though.
