Just finished another item today that was best done while the kids were out.
They get really curious when I work with a hammer.
I wouldn't want to have any little fingers smooshed by accident, that would put quite a damper on what was a pretty fun filled weekend!

Couple more items to go...if only I could get a hold of a water bottle lid.

So, Ms. Sylvanna partner dear...
I hope this post gives you some fun trying to figure out what my hints might be!

Oooo a hammer project? Sounds fun!

I picked up some supplies for an item last night. Still have plans for the large. Medium came out great!

In Chicago til Weds for work. Crunch time when I get back!

I have two things I want to finish up then I'm ready to send.

I had a set back with one item. It encountered a traumatic event, and I"m working to remedy the situation.

Today's out of the ordinary tool for crafting is....
spray paint.

I got another thing accomplished (and it was going to kill me so I do feel as if it was a "true" accomplishment) last night.
Game of Thrones is wonderful crafty tv watching.

Crafts make us feel rooted, give us a sense of belonging and connect us with our history.  Our ancestors used to create these crafts out of necessity, and now we do them for fun... to express ourselves.

So why buy what you can craft?  Smiley
