I made this rock pendant necklace for my Rock Paper Scissors Contest submission. I got so excited about the contest that I raced through and misread the contest rules. I thought the paper had to be glued to the rock, so, my rock is almost totally covered by paper. LOL!!!

This pendant is eco friendly. It has a coiled magazine paper bezel and the back is covered with a piece of paper from a water damaged hardcover book. The lovely blooming hat girl image decoupaged on the front of the pendant is from Artchix Studio.

Not to be forgotten, my trusty scissors were used to cut out my paper image and the words "paper rocks". I chose these words because in my world paper does rock! Give me some paper, scissors and glue and I can happily create for hours. With a little imagination, the possibilities are endless.

I hope you like the rock pendant I have created and experiment with making one yourself.
