I made this hoop for susanab in the I love cats swap.  She mentioned that she loves the lion and the lamb stories/imagery, and while I'm not religious, the message of peace is one close to my heart, and the love of animals.  I found a silhouette online with the shapes, adapted it to a blackwork cross stitch.  Pretty happy with the result and my swap partner was thrilled which is the best part Smiley

It's delightful. The blackwork technique you used makes the lion look so light, as if he's just about to get up and stretch.
