I received today from Belladune (just as she predicted.)  She made me a pair of fingerless gloves and sent along the extra yarn that she spun herself.

I received today from missmoppet!! This stuff is soooo totally me!

First up an amigurumi dachshund.



When the wiener met the wiener or what I like to call "This is why we can't have nice things." The crocheted wiener is fine. The pooping wiener is pissed. ha ha



And then... and then... and then... HOLY MACKEREL! It's a taxidermy amigurumi Nessie!





Isn't that the most adorable thing EVER!?!

Both those guys are way cute, but I especially love the mounted Nessie!

Ok, my turn. I am totally in love with my package. Prepare to be jealous. One of the ideas on my list was a customizable advent calendar. Something I can put notes or cards in, like "go see the holidays lights" or "wrap a gift" to get us all seasonal without the candy. Well, PurplePaisley took the idea and made it way bigger and more awesome! Behold my custom quilted calendar!!



It has 31(!) pockets, a place for a curtain rod in the top to hang it, and all twelve months on different signs. Each pocket has edge stitching, little rosettes with button, and glittery numbers!



Yeah, each month also has hand-beaded letters and coordinating themed fabric. Seriously.



They're laying on the back of the calendar, which is also pretty.



I haven't picked where it's going to hang yet, but be sure it will get a very important spot. I hadn't even thought about something that could stay up all year, but I am totally loving the idea. My son (age 4) is really into it too and has asked for it to hang in his room. I'm working on a good reason to say no.

VegasZombie, it is like you know me personally. Just and incredible package.

First, I asked for an altered tshirt. How funny is it that you created one in a style I have been eyeing for awhile?



Then, she altered a pair of pants into a skirt, something else I have been wanting to make. 



Notice the pink? I love pink. Pink, pink, pink, any shade will do.

A few months ago, I lost a shawl pin. VegasZombie sent another for me. How awesome!



But guys? This is the best part, the altered tshirt into a bag. Fair warning, this part is just a bit on the mature side. But oh so great.



Check out the fuzzy yellow balls along the top. 



Dear heaven above, can you move near me and craft with me? I am thinking of using it for my summer purse.

Vegaszombie-glad you like everything.  I had fun crafting for you.  I really liked how the nessie turned out-i used a wood stain pen on the wood piece and just loved the color that it gave the wood. 


Anyways, I received today from adrienne_bowers.  She sent me a box of goodies.  A patchwork skirt-look closely you can see some super cute squares with baked sweets on them.  and a retro looking mushroom one.  lots of pretty squares.  Please excuse the wrinkles-i took the picture right out of the box because i was too excited to iron it. 

Also, she sent  me a booklet to make crochet socks-hooks and yarn.  I wish i could get a clear shot of the two matching skeins of yarn-they are really pretty colors-smokey colors which will make some great socks.  Thank you!
