And yes I have my own stash of lego...Lana is fiercely protective of her stash. 

Oh course, one must always be protective of ones stash of legos.     Now, I am curious about the bee necklace, its purple in one pic and green in the next.  I must know about this as i might have to pin it!

Hehe, it is made with a temperature sensitive bead...it's made with the same stuff as a mood ring so depending on what temp you are its a different color....ranges from greens,blues. purples.  very fun!

I received from mandys_momma today!  Unfortunately, I am unable to take and post photos so I am going to post a description of the items she sent me and I hope she will post photos b/c the items are AWESOME!

I asked for a picnic blanket and boy did she deliver!  As soon as I opened the box, there was a lime green bookbag type thingy with an orange polka dot flower embroidered(?) on it!  Inside was the AMAZING blanket!  One side is orange fabric with polka dots, the edging is white, and then the other side is lime green fabric with orange/purple/white/blue/and pink ric rac.  She also embroidered(?) 12(!) squares of summery things:  a palm tree, a pink umbrella, a yellow flower, a purple dragonfly, an ice cream cone, a orangish-red flower, purple flowers, a sun, a sailboat, a butterfly, and a watermelon.

It is so beautiful that it should be used as a quilt inside, or a wallhanging!

I don't have great pics of the picnic blanket I made Miss Barbara, but I'll share what I've got.
I had such a good time making the blanket! She asked for a large blanket to use for picnics or laying on.
One side of the blanket is orange w/ big polka dots of all different colors. I failed to get a pic of that side. *sigh*

But onto the neon green side!

For the patches, I just cut fabric and zig zagged it onto muslin squares. Then I placed the entire patch onto the blanket "sandwich" and sewed around the edges. Yeah, I cheated and took the easy way out. No hems on any of the blocks. And I used up a lot of the ric rac that I had on hand...I see some of it looks pretty wonky...I musta had a little too much coffee while sewing that day.

I got my package from Miss Barbara today, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!  I can't do the pictures, but my daughter will when she comes over.  Barbara sent the most precious fairy house ever, along with a beautiful crocheted wallet and a tiedyed purse, and a ton of cute things to go in the purse!  There are 2 tiedye scarves, a wonderful piece of fabric that is tiedyed with peace symbols (love it so much!), a metal pill box with a butterfly, a coin purse, bracelet, notebooks, tissues, and some cute bags with lil pretties inside!  and some precious pictures her dd painted for me of fairies!!  I am just so excited!  Thank you SO much Miss Barbara!!!!!!!
