I had difficulty thinking of things I could do too, besides crochet.

I'm having difficulty thinking of anything, other than near-naked geezers in top hats.  Cheesy
Part of getting old, I guess. (the brain issues, not the costume)

This crafter is out of service most of the rest of 2015 due to a wild schedule, swapping once in a while when I can't fight the feeling anymore ("I've forgotten what I started fighting fooooor...").
Personal swaps: I have lots of home-grown rosemary and white sage available, plus altered journals.

Inspiration without application is moot.

I had difficulty thinking of things I could do too, besides crochet.  I had to ask DH if he had any ideas.

I crochet and there are still things I can think of I'd like someone else to crochet for me like kitchen dishcloths or shrugs. I have an entire queue over on Ravelry of things I want but know I will never get made.  Smiley

psst, just in case anyone is curious.  Wink http://www.ravelry.com/people/pewterwings/queue?query=crochet

I have those queues in crochet too, but I think our problem was making a list of things we can do that don't include crocheting.

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

4 of the 5 items on my 'want' list are things I could make for myself but doubt I will ever get to so thought it would be nice for someone else to make one of them for me.  The hardest part of the questionnaire for me was the list of 5 things you would offer to make - I didn't want them all to be sewn or all crochet items so I had to think hard there.  I found it helped to go through Atsuko's suggestions list and get inspiration from that.

I just filled out and sent in my questionairre.  I had told myself not to join any swaps for a few months because I have enough stuff to do, but I couldn't resist this swap (maybe it was the picture Smiley ).

It was tough filling out the section of what I can make.  I ended up sticking with the crafts I do best (sewing/quilting and embroidery) because I want to be able to make something awesome. Smiley  I can do some other crafts, but my supplies are limited (since they are not crafts I usually do) and it usually comes out looking like a first time effort (my art skills are pretty elementary). Smiley

It took me a bit to come up with things I want.  I finally thought about things I have considered buying, but haven't wanted to spend the money on and that helped with a couple ideas.

Anyway, looking forward to partners!

I must not have my 'mature' filter on because I just seen a whole lotta skin on the main page picture.  I cant help but think: ''How can that be comfortable?!?!?!"  Oh mercy!

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.
