This is my latest little house. It's a goblin pub called "The Squirrel's End". My kid loves to chase squirrels and dreams of one day catching one and roasting it for dinner! ICK!

The stones are made from egg cartons.

The roof I completed after a nasty wind storm blew down all sorts of branches from our old trees.

Inside there are only three rooms.

This is the main pub area.

I'm really pleased with how the tap for the keg turned out. Behind the bar there are loads and loads of little boozy bead bottles.

That's two six pence on the counter. The beer froth is wool.

Can you see the stack of vintage Guinness coasters beside the register?

Behind the bar there is a chicken spit-roasting, a twig and yarn mop and loads of other little bits. See that mount? It's a found duck skull.

This is what my table usually looks like Smiley All of the tables have little bits of graffiti on them. There's random runes scratched in the tops. There's also the name Wendy and the initials BF... can anyone guess why they're there?

That is a real oil painting I did last summer hanging on the wall but beside it is one of my favourite things in the pub... the dartboard with a wire rim. There's Strongbow coasters on this table. If you ever take me to a real pub you should note that THAT is my drink of choice.

On the next table there's a set of dominoes. I painted the dots on them using the head of a pin.

There's even gum stuck under the table (thanks to MissingWillow)!

On the second floor there's a storage area.

The little trap door does move... though the repair man needs to be called in because it doesn't quite close all the way.

There's loads of kegs, bottles and other treats up there. I bought that little pewter stein last week for $1.

That hand is a slightly hidden in the pub. You really have to crane to see it. I got it in a set of pointing hands and I don't think that the manufacturers were aware that it's actually a rather rude gesture meaning "Up yer kilt!" The little round thingy with the 82 on it is an old French lottery number.

Last is the bathroom. See that little bar of soap? It's soap!  Cheesy

And last, the crowning glory... my hobbled toilet. It's made from misc wood pieces and a q-tip.

And to give you a proper idea of the size of it all....

If you want to see in-progress pics hop over to the Wee House Craft-a-long board or come on over and make your own little houses with us!

Now, I think we all need a drink.

Thanks all Smiley

Did you make everything!?

I made a great deal of the things inside. The tables, chairs, ladder, bar, bench... I did not make the barrels (I just painted them) or the register. I did make a whole lot more than I purchased.

Oooh, it's magnificent! I especially love the gum under the tables - that tells us all exactly how your mind works! Wink (And mine too.) I must try to find some squirrel recipes for D.

Belive it or not, he got a small game and varmint cookbook for Christmas! It has everything you can imagine in there from opossum, raccoon, and yes... squirrel. I think my mum bought it for him!
