I really wanted to get started this weekend, but there was just too much beautiful, hot, sunny weather to be enjoyed...oh and the tons of gardening that needs to be done! As soon as the sun goes down today, it is crafty time

After looking in the fabric store we have in town and hating all its content , I have found the correct colour I need in a top from pound land

I'm done!
It rained pretty much the entire weekend, so instead of getting my garden finished like I had hoped, I watched movies and made an awesome monkey!

I am jealous - spent the past 3 mornings working on it before the fam awoke, and still need to do the arms. Not to mention the small and the accessories. Hoping to keep at it for the rest of the week. Really hoping the tickle in my throat doesn't get worse. Dream come true would be for work to cancel me, husby or grandma to take the kids, take a swig of Nyquil, go down for a big nap and come up crafting, LOL!

I went fabric & sock shopping & found pretty much everything I was looking for except for 1 thing & I can get that later. I have everything that I want to make in my head, now Just to put on it paper & cut it all out & sew! Oh so much fun!!

People are already done/close to done?!?!?  I still haven't decided which of my recipient's themes I'm going to go with!  Any one of them would be fun to do, but I'm finally down to waffling between two of them...except there's that third one that keeps calling to me....

got a monkey body done and the supplies for everything else. i'm starting to get excited about all the fun detail work i get to do
