I am making a crayon quilt with my DDs first grade class for their student teacher. I was planning on using poly-fil 80/20 for batting. Is there any reason why I cant tie it? I thought it would be fun for the kids; although i guess i could do some straight line quilting as well if need be. Does anyone have any advice? TIA!

Tying should be fine, you just want to make sure that you keep within the marked "quilting" or tying distance.
