Okay, here it is:

And also my ever cheerful sister modeling the gown:

So, as for a story, here it goes. A little while back, read.. let's see... a year? Maybe? Anyway the wonderful craigslist found us some fabric being sold by a lady who inherited it from her recently deceased mother. 'We' being my mother and I, of course. Anyway she left the fabric with me, and finally now I've been using these fabrics as 'practice'. Im making a selection of retro dresses to beef up on my sewing skills. Here is my second dress, after the Batman curtain one. Smiley

I used this pattern, ULTRA easy, and super fun. Heres some more pic-spam. Smiley

Fun! How much fabric did you use? That skirt looks huge!

I found these 4x5 plastic picture protectors and I want to fill them up with YOUR art. Let's swap.

It was about five yards or so but SUPER wide. Problem with inherited fabrics": You can rarely tell exact yardage without some patience. I barely measure before I CUT so... Smiley
