Ceda PMed me what seemed like yesterday, that she mailed out my package, and when I came home this morning from an errand, there was the package from her!
(I can't take or post photos so I will post a description and then PM Ceda and she'll post photos.)
First of all, she packed it with so much tissue paper, I will not have to buy any more for a long, long, time!
Onto the descriptions:
-Ladybug socks, with the ladybugs being in my favorite color-ORANGE!
-A really nifty black box made out of hard felt with a ladybug on top!
-Inside of the black box was some scrapbooking supplies...SHINY teacher related adhesive shapes and SHINY ladybug adhesive shapes!
-An EPIC headband! Decorated with what Ceda said were pheasant feathers of different sizes and patterns, with a silver accent on one end. I can't wait to wear it out to hear the compliments! It is truly awesome.
-A lavender filled ladybug sachet, that according to all the black spots (buttons) it has, is 10 years old!
-A bag of lavender from her garden for me to use in any project I choose. (I keep sniffing the bag and the ladybug today...I have a migraine and even my perscription meds aren't working.
-A ladybug mug rug! It is framed in black fabric, with a blue background with red ladybugs and daisies as the pattern. Ceda did what I guess is called 'freeform' embroidery on the rug (I am SO not a sewer!
). But what the niftiest part is, is that she so neatly hand stitiched a felt ladybug onto one side of it, where the wings are a pocket! Perfect size for a teabag, spoon, rolled up napkin, etc... I think it's a great idea!
-Ceda works at Busch Gardens (Such a cool job, right??
) and sent me a mini box of scenes from the park...I love it!
-I had asked her for some postcards and she sent a ton! 13 to be exact! The animal scenes on them are great...some of them are of my DD's favorite animals and she's having an animal themed birthday this weekend, so I will be giving her some from Ceda, of course.
(A nifty thing to note about the postcards, is I think some of them are reproductions of the art that some of the animals did with their paws and paint! Awesome!)
