I'm pleased to introduced you to Alibum! [Ay-lee-bum] He's a little green alien who is very round and as a result has quite a big bottom.

He's a cheeky little chappy and is very happy, as you can tell by his big smile and lovely red tongue. He also likes to admire his own good looks, and doesn't need a mirror to do so! He's a bit boss-eyed!

Alibum is hand-sewn from green, black, white and red felt and is full of polyester stuffing. I designed the pattern for this alien myself. I used a basic ball shape made with lemon shaped pieces and adapted the shapes to include his arms, legs and eyes on stalks. He measures 9cm tall.

Because of his shape, Alibum is very good at sitting on the edge of (for example) a shelf, as demonstrated by Alibum sitting on this little box.

This is the third Ali-bum I've made, with the other two finding new homes to explore; one went to a musical friend and the other to my little nephew, along with some other space themed toys and a book.

Hope you like him!
