CRAFTING KEEPS ME FROM GOING CRAZY!!!!

So I made a sweater for my dog since we have to shave her occasionally and then she shivers for a week or so. I made her a sweater that was too big following a pattern then frogged it and made her another one. She loves it and dances around when I get it out for her to wear it.

Thanks for looking

Poor cold dog, but what a wonderful sweater to compensate, you're kind to her. Smiley

How adorable! Would you mind sharing the pattern? I have a Shih Tzu / Jack Russell (we think) and I have a hard time finding one to match her odd body. LOL!

I'm not usually a big fan of dog sweaters, but this looks cool. Granny squares are always winners in my book, and the colors you chose are very pretty together !
And I love to hear she loves wearing it :-D

Here is the pattern I used I changed it here and there. But it has been so long dont remember what they were. I do remember that the pattern ran big.

I haven't followed the link yet, but from your pictures it looks like two squares, one larger than the other, stitched together. I'm gonna have to try and make one soon. I get hot and turn the air up and my little one shivers. lol

What a pretty coat (and dog), I like that youve made it to cover her chest well too.

I made my dog some pyjamas because he gets cold at night in the winter and at first he would growl at us putting them on then look very sorry for himself when they were on but I think he has learnt that they keep him warm, he wags his tail and seems happy when we get them out now.

That is precious. I love the colors and it looks like it fits perfectly. You did a good job at adapting the pattern to make it fit her. Now, if I could only get my dog to wear some clothing...
