Dia
« on: May 03, 2012 04:57:11 PM »

In the Birthday swap, bananaleg asked for a hoopla which had the word Dia which is what she used to call her Grandma. She also mentioned that she loved blue and orange together. Well, the Spanish teacher in me saw some potential in putting those two things together because dia means day in Spanish. Here's what I stitched this up for her. Smiley

Sometime you'll have to show me how you do your split stich....  mine never turns out that good.  Unless I'm wrong and that's not split stitch.  You used the same stitch on my celtic knot hoop a while back and mine just never looks right!

BTW - you know I love it!  Now I wanna see one that purple and black and silver and says "Noches" Wink

Can do! We need to meet up again the next time you're down here. Cheesy

Oooo, now I have to stitch up Noches for sure! Maybe I'll finally look into the glow in the dark thread. Hmm....
