In keeping with my goal to start making more quilts for other people (rather than just for me) I made a small quilt for one of my best friends.  Her bedroom is pretty old-fashioned looking, with country pinks and burgundies.  She has a pink checkerboard quilt above her bed, and wants something for an empty space on a different wall next to her book case. I thought the granny squares block would be a nice complement to the checkerboard quilt.  I hope she agrees.

Aww. This is so sweet. I'm sure she'll love it (her grandbaby made it after all.Wink) And it looks like you and me have opposite problems. You are trying to make more quilts for others, while I don't have a single quilt for me.Cheesy

I found these 4x5 plastic picture protectors and I want to fill them up with YOUR art. Let's swap.

I think it is beautiful! And so sweet to make your friend a quilt, I'm sure she would love it!!

My mother-in-law made several quilts and I'm loving them all! So pretty and handmade, just for you... Who doesn't appreciate that?
