I made this for Dharma Rebel in an IYP swap a while ago.  I kinda wish I'd made two!  It's wool, felted onto white cotton gauze fabric.  I didn't push the excess behind the hoop, as I thought, who would contain a rainbow? Not me!

This hoop has a prtner, which can be found here:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=407835.msg4810362#msg4810362  ( you can see the side of it in the second picture on this thread Smiley )

I love this, the texture is so wonderful, I just want to reach out and touch it!

I want this! Felted onto gauze? Do I need to ask how to do this or should I already know? You amaze me.

Thanks, Jexx!  It's super easy!  Just lay the wool out as you would, stick the gauze/super lightweight gosamer type natural fabric that doesn't felt (works with cotton and silk) in the middle, keep laying out the fiber and wet felt as you would!
