I was trying to think of something witty to say here, but I'll just lay is straight out instead.  If you're like me, you are counting down the SECONDS until AC3 releases in October, and you are feeling the urge to strap on that hidden blade and use it as a crafting implement.  (Don't lie, you know it would be awesome to use it to make paper snowflakes or something when you aren't stabbing Templars in the face)

Is anyone interested in an Assassin's Creed swap?  Big or small, even OTT?

I've never organized a swap before so I would prefer not to and instead co-org, but if no one else can I am more than willing to take the plunge.

Come on, Assassins (and Templars)!  Let's get crafty AC style!  What do you think?

Sounds like an interesting idea! What kind of crafts were you thinking we could do?

I don't know really, it would depend on the size of the swap!  I have a pretty big list of AC-inspired things I personally want to make, so I guess I'll share that. Smiley

1.) Symbol T-shirts (I've already made an Ottoman crest one that I'll be taking pics of and posting today)
2.) Cross-stitched quotes such as, "Nothing is true, everything is permitted" or "We work in the dark to serve the light"
3.) Altair/Ezio/Connor/Desmond poppets/amigurumi/stuffies
4.) Symbol jewelry
5.) Wall art
6.) Symbol quilt (ok, that's a bit much for a swap possibly, but it's on my list!),  or throw pillows
7.) Hoodie
8.) Symbol gadget holders (kindle cover, ipod cover, psp case, etc)
9.) Messenger bag like on the ubi store
10.) Symbol-etched glassware

And that's all I can think of at the moment.  Last night when I was thinking about this I had a couple great ideas for an OTT swap, but I've completely forgotten (of course I didn't think to write it down, haha).  I'll keep thinking though. Smiley

I might be down for this depending on when it happens.

I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

HolaKitty, I hadn't really given timing much thought (you can tell I'm really good at this, eh?) so I'm totally open to suggestions.

Lately when trying to think anything AC+calendar all I can come up with "Is it October yet? No?  How about now? Now? What do you mean it's only APRIL?!?" Wink
