And dyed some Polwarth, which is split up for fractal spinning:

You're rocking a little bit of everything this week. Love the thick and thin knit. That's the way to do it, yo.

i love that scarf! it looks so amazingly soft and wonderful. Smiley i've started learning to knit just because i love how soft and squishy handspuns are when they're knit up. working on a hat now and have found that knitting takes foreverrrrrrrr. made me appreciate crochet a little more. lol Cheesy

I know its not Friday anymore, but I actually have something to post this week! Yay! Cheesy I spun up some plain black, not sure what type of wool it is. Its the gift wool that Carol from Sheep Shed sends you if anyone knows what that is.

Also, I spun up some Punta roving that I dyed and then tried my hand at Andean plying. It was pretty fun, I think I'm going to do it with the rest of the roving too. Here's a video on Andean plying if anyone is interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmOEACBtZEU

I really like how this yarn looks plied, and practice makes perfect so I'm hoping the next batch will be better. Grin

Beautiful yarns Rodelphia!  Your black looks ever so perfectly even.  And I love the colors in the second

thanks! I did the black on my drop spindle and the dyed roving on my PVC wheel, so that's why theres such a difference in thickness. I still need more practice on the wheel, but its getting better!

shannin- I love that scarf!! it's so cool how the thick and thin yarn gives it so much texture!

rodelphia- you should give me that black yarn for two reasons: 1) you don't want your husband getting mad at you for having too much yarn 2) pretty sure you borrowed that drop spindle from me, therefore the yarn should be mine!  Grin
