I'm bummed that I don't think I can reopen in June. Sad Just too much to do here, and I'm still worn out from the house hunting process. We were super-lucky to get this place. Oh, well. We will all have great new stuff in the fall. For now, I still haven't had the time the make my new craft room functional. Once I do, it will be awesome, though. In our old place, there were not enough outlets in any of the rooms to set up my machines/have adequate lighting/etc. I had to unplug my serger to use my normal machine, etc...it was annoying. There is only so much you can put on one power strip. This house is just as old, but has updated wiring. Yay for being able to plug it all in!

LxM, I'm sorry about the house. Hang in there, it will work out.

house hunting has eaten up all my free time  Cry
we found, bid on and lost another one over the holiday weekend. I would hate to see a break, but I know I would probably be taking a few months off here pretty soon anyway. *le sigh*

Hang in there LxM.  You might want to consider putting an escalator clause in there with a ceiling so that you can have a better chance of getting the house you want.

Tomorrow begins the run of craziness: all day pool party for Lana's classmates, then 3 days of Bday parties for Lana.  I'm am busy knitting a simple bag for her teacher.  We were told that a small $5 gift would be appropiate, but not more than that.  Maybe I'll break out my beads and let Lana put together some simple summer earrings for everyone.

Since I can't comfortably get ready in time for this next round, but I will have more time toward the end of the month, I went ahead and joined the Tour de Fleece. I will have a bunch of yarns when we start up again!  Grin

I'm on three teams, Team Craftster, Team Rookie (first year in TdF), and Team Breakaway (art yarn spinners). That's a LOT of spinning! Here is the Rav link to our C'ster team:

Since we will be on vacay from this swap, join us if you spin, or are thinking about spinning.

ohhh Tour de Fleece- I forgot about that, I am going to have to check out Craftster's group

I've been having a super stressful week. We've been waiting for 5 months to purchase a short sale home and we finally had a closing date on Thursday. Then we find out on Wednesday that Bank of America (the seller's bank) forgot to sign some paperwork, so we couldn't close. And now we have to wait another week. Arrrgggg.....

Anywho, since I am right at 3 points, I think I am going to stay closed for June. I have a feeling I am going to be swamped once we finally close on our house.

I signed up for a Tour de Fleece team. This will be my first year. I didn't know craftster had a team. I just picked one that was active and the people seemed super nice. It doesn't hurt that they are giving away lots of prices.  Smiley

I would love to swap for things kids could do in the car on a long car trip (3 girls ages 5-12). I can knit, crochet or trade yarn.
