Hey ya'll!  My cousin in the Bay Area commissioned me to stitch up some tote bags for her because of the BYOB ordinance in San Jose, CA.  If you are unaware you must bring your own bags to all stores in San Jose unless you care to pay for the stores plastic bags.  Very green  Cheesy  Anyhow, my cousin asked if I'd make some bags.  This is what I came up with...

This handsome Rockabilly Fella..

I created my own pattern for the tote bag.  It is about the size of an ol' paper bag if you remember those.  The handles, bottom and lining are all turquoise and I sturdied it up using some sturdy-quilty interfacing.  I used an Urban Threads embroidery patterns and had some fun with felt to put him together.

I also created this one for her as well as a couple t-shirt tote bags that I squared up the bottom of.  The heart with wings is kinda my thing. I free handed cutting that out and stitched it with the machine rather than by hand.

C&C Welcome.  Thank you for looking  Cheesy
