Wow this is turning out to be so amazing! I'm in love with that village fabric and the little house that look a bit like trailers those pins, with the clay rock! I never have thought to do that and your clay work is so good. Again much love for the hoop and spaceship pin cushion! Can't wait to see what everyone else made.

My package arrived!! Love it, Love it, Love it. rlynn outdid herself with my goodies. She sent:
1. Local- Chocolate bar (already halfway finished with it...so good)
2. vintage- 2 gorgeous jacquard trims, vintage buttons and a pattern for a Victorian chatelaine
3. Round- leather cuff
4. Sharp-the cutest pin cushion with handmade pinheads (shrink plastic I think)
5. Tiny- Pretty tile pendant
6. Green - Bag made with great fabric that will become a little trash bag for my serger.
7. Sender's Choice- 3 great fabrics

My teenage daughter confiscated the cuff immediately and I really don't expect to see it again. We are all enjoying the chocolate bar. I am excited to figure out something great to make with my fabrics and trims. It will have to be just the right project.

Okay....still not sure what Aria did with the great tshirt artmomto5 made.  Its around here...but I've been swamped with school and work responsibilities so I'll post my package now and repost with a pic of the shirt when I have time to figure out where it went.  I'm sure she wore it the day Dad was home with her and it ended up in the wash.

Anyhow, I LOVE my package from Lori!

The thick ribbon is vintage inspired.  The other ribbon and the buttons are definitely vintage.  They are from a fab local store here in Portland!  Their store is dangerous. 

Sweetyetevil, I hope your partner gets back to us soon.  I love the mason jar pincushion.  The fabric you used for the top is divine.

I am still reeling from the absolutely spectacular package that arrived from danynn.  She based almost everything on what are probably my top two themes, space and the ocean, displaying excellent taste, a sense of whimsy, careful craftsmanship, and considerable thoughtfulness throughout.  And I have to tell you that my swap anxiety level is now extremely high and I’m feeling a little depressed as I can't imagine she'll be anywhere near as thrilled with what I sent as I am with what I have received!

I'm so glad you like everything! I had a lot of fun making it all. And I got to learn how to make elastic-y waistband straps!

I was wondering how danynn knew I would like this particular style of robot, and then realized she’s either clairvoyant...or a diligent swap partner stalker, because this is a hooped version of crochet pattern from my wist!  (Mind reader or stalker, she's brilliant at it, because a few other items have a similar familiarity, with danynn’s own special spin on them.)

Yep, I got the image from your wist and just turned it into a 2-D version. I totally stalked you for most of the ideas (the beach-apron is based on a mug rug you had somewhere; the turtle is based on a quilt you'd liked...)

everything is so great! All the cool fabrics! (I can't stop going on about the fabrics ) its awesome how you can take one idea like a pincushion and have so many variations. Love the mushroom!
