Wendylynns Paper Whims

Hi, do you like to play with paper. I created a circular 3D brooch from magazine and catalog pages. The paper brooch is easy to make and the possibilities are endless. It is an eco friendly craft because you use paper sources that are destined for the recycling bin.

The brooch is created from four circular images. I used a 1 5/8" paper punch to cut out my circles. I then reinforced them with circles cut from a damaged hardcover book. You then arrange the circles in an eye pleasing manner and sew them down the center. For step by step instructions with photos, see my blog post: http://wendylynnspaperwhims.blogspot.com/2012/03/how-to-make-3d-paper-brooch-paper.html

If you have questions, please contact me. I would love to see any paper brooches that you create.

Very pretty. Gotta love those Anthropologie catalogs. Smiley I enjoyed your tutorial and love the way you display your brooches and bobby pins.
