I found this beautiful shirt for two dollars and a plain black shirt for three dollars. Outfit cost only $5 and i think it rocks. I was inspired by japanese fruits and lolita clothing. I love the style but not the pastelly, kiddie stuff. This is my version of more everyday wear.

Original piece (I forgot to take pics of the black shirt but it didn't change much):

And the final product:

The shirt has the white piece at the bottom which I thought was cool with a pair of jeans or black pants. If I wear the outfit together I'll probably hide the white piece and where it like this:

A better shot of the shirt:

A better shot of the skirt:

Please excuse my dirty mirror. I hope you like! I LOVE the fabric and thought it was a total gem.

That's super cute! The fabric is really neat and looks much better as a skirt! It looks cute with the white peice on the skirt, too; it looks the white on top and the white on bottom are part of one long undershirt, and that elongated style seems to be really in this year. Great work!

That was a great print to turn into a skirt. Good eye. The combo with the top is a perfect balance. Bravo!

That's so cute! Having the white piece out when you're wearing the skirt looks good, it's so awesome you made seperate pieces! I love this... Smiley haha
