The octagon's yarn is Encore worsted...a wool n acrylic blend.

I bought the 150 Knit/Crochet book at Michael's...cant recall author's name.  It might have some ideas and special shaped joining motifs to make, too.

Still in TX for the week.  I'll get pics posted after making my way home.

I love them all!  I'm going to have to check my library to see if I have that 150 Knit/Crochet Motifs book.  It seems so full of potential!

I think my favourite one, over all, is the Lazy Wheel, but I am quite intrigued by #102 from Beyond The Square.  I *do* have that book so I'm going to go look it up now!

I'll have to go and look up #102 from Beyond the Square, as well! If the center motif is a GD, I have a plan for any leftover GDs!

And, thanks for listing the author for the 150 knit/crochet motifs. I tend to stay away from books that have knit in the title because they seem to be more heavily weighted towards the knit side of things. But, if the library has it, that's another story!

ETA: Our library system has it! But, I just went to request it and my library card has expired... I didn't know my library card had an expiration date... That means I won't be able to get it until next week...

That's what I thought, too! If they are open late enough, I may swing by tomorrow on my way home (I have a meeting until 6:30) and see what's up with that. If it's solved by a simple computer mouse click, then I'll hop on over to the reservation desk and request a copy of the book. It's listed as being in the libraries of the 2 closest towns, so it could arrive on Friday!

That's kind of sweet! But, maybe you could "lose" it and have to get a replacement...

And, I didn't make it to the library today, so I'll have to go on Friday. It's probably just as well. I have a lot to do this weekend, so I don't need to be distracted by new crochet patterns to try... (and I always have motif #102 to try out ).

I received today!!!! And it was perfect timing as I have had a rough week. Last Wednesday I managed to splash very hot greasy water into my eye (my good eye of course) and did you know eyeballs can blister? Anyway, for the last couple of days have been building etc and cutting wood (yes with hardly any sight).... its infected now and just got back from Urgent Care to find my package of goodies! WOOT!!!

They are absolutely beautiful and SOOO SOFT!!! Peachessunshine you did amazing! I can feel the different stitches and lots of different textures! I will definitely be able to tell which is which and you got my pink black and white I am so grinning from ear to ear! And OMG you made EXTRAS!

I am not sure which square belongs to which from the list just yet (I really cant see well) but I think I got them all in the pics





peachessunshine if you have better pics please by all means post them! I am aiming and shooting and hoping I got it right!
