(does this count as general clothing? or would it fit better in reconstructed?)

just finished today. i love it SO MUCH. i worked on it for about a week & a half, almost every day. this is an exceptionally long time for me. & i loved every minute of it.

i'm wondering about the front skirt though, now that i'm looking at these pictures. anyway.

my favourite view.

i couldn't get enough of photographing it, hehe. there are all manner of things in here: clothes worn once, half of a failed corset, all kinds of scraps, an atari teenage riot shirt, a never worn bra, zippers, a bandanna from my childhood, a much cherished broken bracelet, a petticoat that wasn't full enough, a garter belt...

some detail shots:

i molded this on my dressform, instead of working from out of a pre-drawn pattern. it was so much fun to do! sewing all of it together a little less.

even more pictures & information & suggestions on making your own on my blog (:

i'd love to hear your opinion on it!
either way, thanks for looking! have a fabulous day/night!

05/10: oh wow, i'm featured on the front page. this is a first! thank you so much <3

WOW! I am loving this so much, I must make my own Grin Your color choices are incredibly pretty and I love the zipper-details and the utter poofy-ness of the skirt-part...

Because there are so many things in it that started out life as other things I think I'm gonna move it over there.

It's gorgeous!!!

I love this! It is simply gorgeous! I especially love how the zipper doesn't go straight up the back.
