I have to confess I didn't make the note cards. I got them in a swap. I love them, they are a perfect size to throw in with my swaps.

So many awesome patches. I need to get to stitching!

So many great patches! I especially love the last button patch that was posted.

I received patches from Quaggy and Smmarrt! And LOVE them all!!!! I think they are both slightly psychic... will explain below.

FIRST FROM QUAGGY:



Adorable, right? Love the cute little blue birds and the beading on it.



And here is the psychic part. I have this same tree fabric -- although I haven't done anything with it yet, and could never have imaginged something so clever! The beading, of course, is the special part. Where did she find those tiny little flower beads? And the way that the beads on the tree reflect the dotty background of the fabric -- inspired!

NOW FROM SMMARRT:



Somehow, Smmarrt psychically connected with quaggy, because this is also a sweet blue bird on a pink background! The background is intricately worked, and I love the big flower button.



For the kitchen-themed patch, she sent a patch made from vintage fabric, featuring a sliced apple. Again seemingly psychic, because although I stated my theme as "retro kitchen", the wall hanging I am creating also has scattered images of fruit (which is the decorative theme in my actual kitchen)!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the patches I have received and feel so fortunate to have been claimed by these crafters. THANK YOU!

These are all lovely. Smmarrt and Quaggy are talented patch-makers, among other things. I really like the fabric combinations. Beautiful beadwork too. And I really feel those psychic vibes. All four work well together.

Such a great way to make a point - the book pages are shirred fabric (?) so cool texture. And I just spent $34. of $50. birthday bucks on 2 books at the book store - whoo hoo! I HAVE to make a book bag now, no excuses!

Scissors, measuring tape, and more! Maybe one side books and one side crafty stuff.

Catching up I was away for the weeekend!  So glad you liked your patches and yes they do all go well together.  The beads came from hobby lobby it in the section where all the plastic beads are I think.  You get a pretty big bag of assorted sizes for dirt cheap when they are 50% off.

From Craftsunderground - the bird footprints in the sand and the sand castle are so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I love that sand castle!) and she also send me one of her famous doily patches.  I just love it.  I have a shell "button" I plan to add to the center of this one and use it on my beach bag also.  I think I have a total of 8 beach theme patches.  Not nearly enough for a bag, but it's a start.  I need to go claim one more time for this month.  I'm greedy........I want more patches (hehehe)

I was excited to receive two claims on the same day and for the same theme--the Red Stripes. So now, with a couple of my own patches added in, I have enough for a journal cover. YAY

First from Robinpich, two embroidered patches. Robin does such detailed work. I love the fuzzy, squiggly lines on the first. I don't know if you can see it well, but the second has tiny x stitches that really set off the stars. Doesn't it just say "Rock Star"?



From Smmarrt, two fabulous button patches. The Red Stripes prominently feature big, red and white buttons and these are just perfect! I love the added text and the tiny wooden tag.
