I received two great patches from kriSmith at the end of last week - themes were steampunk and nature.  I love them both  Cheesy

I've been hoping for a bit of sunshine for taking pictures, but it's been dark and pouring with rain ever since they arrived.  I tried pictures indoors but they were either totally washed out with the flash or fuzzy due to shaking with no flash  Tongue and I really wanted the pictures to do them justice.  It's supposed to be nice here tomorrow so I'll take some first thing and get them posted.  Thanks again kriSmith!

I can't wait to see them. I love Steampunk and KriSmith always does a great job.
I have a lot of trouble with pictures. I have some instructions for making a light box and I am going to try making one this weekend. I hope it works out because I hate posting bad pictures of great projects.

Got some great patches from muddy21!

One is for my text theme:

I don't know if you can see it in the photo, but she has stitched along each of the lines on the page. And she does those cute little Xes in the corners like so many of you do... I had never seen or tried that until this swap!

The next is a bird:

On this one, her stitches outline each of the little "snapshots".

Both of the patches have teeny-dotty fabrics on the backs/edges .

I love both patches!!! Can't wait until I have enough to make something out of all my patches... (Getting close!)

THANK YOU, MUDDY21!

Ooooh! Ooooh! I got a silk flower one, too! Look!

How cool! I can't count how many stitches there are on it, and they follow the shape of the flower petals. So pretty!

And the other one has buttons of contrasting colors and beautiful marbelized swirls of purple. (I LOOOOVE that fabric!)

The colors are a little off since I used my camera phone... The largest button is actually green. The back of this one has a gorgeous fabric, too. Like a tie dye or batik. Love it!

THANK YOU, Monique!

Wow, Kookaloo, those are great. I am definately on the hunt for a button like that. I love turtles, we had them growing up. Those sunglasses are terrific too, so clever.
