I love photography, and I've been thinking about a photography based craft swap. I'd love to organize, but it couldn't be until at least July. I wanted to get some ideas on how to set it up and  if there was interest.

I was thinking it could be a 2 part swap.

Part 1:
--either a 5x7 or 8x10 photo required (we'll pick one size and stick with that for everyone)
--my first thought is to do a location picture (so say someone in USA could get a France pic, etc)
                                 or
do a theme based picture where each person lists 5-10 themes for their partner to choose from to photograph
--If you already have an amazing picture that meets the above listed qualifications, you can use it. As long as it prints acceptably pixalated at determined size. Otherwise, make it a point to go out
and take a fab picture one of the themes
--if you want to photoshop it to give detail, that's fine, but not necessary.
--You may not just print a picture off the computer and claim it as your own.

I was thinking this way it would be fun to get a picture of something that you can't take by yourself without traveling. So, someone could get pictures of the beach that lives inland, or of a bird/animal that lives in a different part of the country than them. Mountains when you live in the plains, Mexican ruins, a sunrise/sunset froma different vantage point, etc

Part 2:
--Craft a photo frame for your picture.
--You can make the frame any way you choose.
--You can choose whether to use a photo mat or not.

Keeping these ideas in mind, would anyone be interested? And also, would it be easier to do an ongoing claim like swap (I would need a co-organizer to help me for sure!) or just be partnered. And, if you are just partnered, would you like to option to choose whether you have one or more partner?
