hello all,
it's been awhile,
I've been browsing more than wanting to share any thing that i made.
winters always rough. job stuff, mood stuff and all that  Tongue

I'm starting a line of stuffed creatures inspired by cave art.
this guy  is the first, he is about two feet long, sits almost 1.5 feet, since his arms and legs can move freely he can stand and lie down.
i called him my spirit goat
he is already in his new home with my bestie, awaiting the goat farm

i really wish i had much better pics though, there are a couple on my fb page...

technical details:He is made from a felted sweater that someone donated to me. bits of fabric from my stash. string jointing and buttons someone gave me. i kinda flew by the seat of my pants so i didn't make a pattern for this one. i have to start making patterns though.
C&C always welcome, thanks for letting me share again
anyone have any suggestions for a good jointing needle? i cant seem to find one that works properly.

love to take part in personal swaps, I would love a poppet of my very own, or a doll like the ones made by Poppets & Lace

I love his long limbs and his doleful face.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Sculpting needles, also known as doll needles.  Love the goat by the way.

I love this goat!

And I second the Doll Needles sometimes called jointing needles too.  They're, like, 4-8 inches long and sometimes come in sets.  When I remember to use mine, they're sooo helpful.
