Ahhh I love love this one SOOOOO MUCH! My uncle has this sheepskin laying around for about 20 years not being used and so gave it to me! Well, I made a book with some of it yesterday and I'm thrilled at the outcome. I also managed to get hold of some freezer paper (yey) and this stuff taken stencils perfectly Smiley

It's filled with gorgeous handmade cotton rag paper (found a fab local supplier - yey!) that I've torn down to size leaving the lovely deckle and hand torn edges for a rustic look which I love Smiley

What do you think?

Totally Lovely!  I have a deer hide of my grandfather's that I have been hoarding -- maybe this is something I will try!  Thanks for sharing your great work!

Thanks folks! Lime, the pages are sewn into the leather using the longstitch technique, there's a great list of links on the bookbinding etsy street team blog here that I've just come across http://www.bookbindingteam.com/2009/02/longstitch-binding-tutorials.html and for other bookbinding tutorials there's a good list here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=174813.0 Smiley Give it a go, it's SO much fun!
