I was a beautiful day yesterday so I got outdoor with my stuff and let the kid run free while doing some artwork

Things are going well over here.

I've got both smalls done. One more thing and I'll be good as gold. Just waiting for inspiration to hit me - which will come soon, I'm sure.

Been having beautiful weather here lately. The flowers are finally out in full bloom. Unlike most people - I LOVE the carpets of bright yellow dandelions that are common around here. Absolutely beautiful compared to the bleak winter we had.

I love the dandelions too. Our province banned the use of herbicides on lawns a decade ago, and the city has stopped mowing except in parks, now all the grass between roadways, etc. are covered in golden dandelions for a few days each spring, followed by clover and other flowering plants. So much better than just flat grass. And a bonus for the bees, too.

A lovely day here too - it must be everywhere. (Except in Tasmania - sorry, Quasior!) I've been working on putting up a clothesline in our back yard (finally got the pole in the ground yesterday) and I can hardly wait to dry clothes outdoors again. Today would have been perfect!

Oh, you remind me of taking in our bed blankets! We don't have a line here (there's too much truck passing in our backyard...) But it was SO sunny, I spread the blankets on the handrail. It's been a wonderful day here as well. Kids playing outdoor while I made a doll for my shop

I know we are known as the Sunshine State in Florida, but it has been raining for three days straight and according to the news; It’s going to continue into next week. However, we need the rain and I enjoy it a lot. It’s almost like a natural mediation for me.

a large done,
and I am working on the main large item. It is drying.

I haven't finished anything more yet, but found some cute extras to put in. Working on some ideas, though. Going to graduate to a bigger envelope soon. lol

Update on the kitty: Poet is home from the vet and resting continuously. She looks even skinnier without the bloated infection in her tummy. Poor little thing. She really looks like she's not feeling well, and she's very shaky. We're keeping the rambunctious kitten away from her while she recovers, because Pixie is almost twice her size already, and very rough. Here's to a speedy recovery!
