Since I won't make it (again) to the Scarborough Faire this weekend, I am going to craft my heart out!
This Friday some members of the ren faire club I am in, are having a meeting, so that should get me in the mood as well. Can't wait to hear back from my partner. In the meanwhile, I will lurk on y'alls wists/pinterests!

I learned this morning that I have a Rowan tree right outside my bedroom window. Suddenly the view seems that much more magical out there. Everything suddenly POOF - started to bloom today. The earth must know what a special day it is today.

I have always wonder for those of us in the southern hemisphere is it Beltaine or Samhain?

and we are a day in front of you too. so does that mean we get to celebrate twice

Where I am in Canada we just celebrated Beltane, I celebrate Samhain in october

Some Southerners prefer to celebrate like their ancestor use too, which in this case would be Beltane, but some prefer to go with the real climate, real changing of the season that occurs where you are, and that would be Samhain

As for celebrating twice.... Why not?

I'm gathering brainwaves and plan to get some art done for this project over the next several days. Really looking forward to this swap! Somehow I ended up with the organizer as my partner in both rounds. lol No pressure...

Sent my partner a massive list of questions to answer, but I already have a few ideas i am playing with.  I plan on going shopping for some supplies once it stops raining here, no one likes to drag a soggy baby around
